The House of Commons is set to sit again on September 19, 2016

With Parliament set to resume again soon, here’s a reminder of everything that MP Arya has been doing, and plans to do moving into the next session.

February 4th:

MP Arya stood in the House of Commons to address the lack of funding for regional economic development in the National Capital Region.

March 7th:

MP Arya stood in the House of Commons in favour of Bill C-2, the Income Tax Act. Bill C-2 lowers income tax rates for middle class earners to 20.5%, while raising it to 33% for people earning over $200,000.

June 7th:

MP Arya was apart of the Public Accounts Committee where he examined funding for the army reserve.

June 7th:

MP Arya was apart of the Industry Committee where he examined funding distribution under FedDev.

June 9th:

MP Arya was apart of the Public Accounts Committee where he examined the cap for marijuana consumption per day by veterans.

June 14th:

MP Arya was apart of the Industry Committee where he examined a manufacturing policy for Canada.

June 16th:

MP Arya was apart of the Public Accounts Committee where he examined the funding for grade crossings at the Woodroffe rail crossing.

August 18th:

MP Arya was apart of the International Trade Committee where he examined the Business Advisory Council.
